Woodcutting

Woodcutting is one of the most profitable skills. With woodcutting you can cut logs that can be used for Construction, Fletching and Firemaking. It's also possible to cut canoes which give you an other transportation capability.

Axes

All of the Axes, (Hatchets), can be player made using the smithing skill except for the Dragon Woodcutting Axe, which can only be obtained from Daggonith Prime. You can also buy all axes up to adamantite at Bob's axes shop in Lumbridge

Machete’s (members only)

Machete’s are used to cut Light, Medium, and Dense Jungle.

(*-Trading sticks are obtained from the inhabitants of Tai Bwo Wannai village after you have performed favors for them. Occasionally dropped by Jogres.)

Safta: 1200 trading sticks*, 1 gout tuber, and 3 red topaz (cut or uncut).

Canoes (members only)

Canoe Station Locations:

Lumbridge, at the east side of the river, just south of the House with the Goblins in it.
Champions Guild, at the east side of the river, just west of the wheat field.
Barbarian Village, at the east side of the river, south of the bridge to the village.
Edgeville, at the east side of the river, south of the bridge.
Level 35 Wilderness, the little lake south of where the Moss Giants are, between Red Dragon Isle and the Lava Maze. Only Waka canoes can come here. WARNING: You cannot go back from this station!

How to Make Canoe:
1. Go to one of the stations; you should see an unusual big tree there, cut it down.
2. Now that it's cut down, you can make a canoe from it. Click on the fallen tree and select the canoe you want to make.
3. Now push the canoe into the water by clicking on it.
4. Now you can float on it. Click on the canoe and select where you want to go. Remember, higher level canoes can float further than the others, and give more woodcutting experience, so it's recommended to build the highest canoe you can make.

Good Spots to Wood Cutting

Regular Trees: Just North-West out of Falador North Gate.

Oak Trees: Around Dryanor Village Bank.

Willow Trees: On the Shore Outside of Dryanor Village Bank.

Maple Trees: Just North of Seers Village, (East of Camelot), Bank. Also East of Sinclair Mansion. (members only)

Yew Trees: South of Edgeville Bank.

Magic Trees: In Sorcerer’s Tower South of Seers’ Village (can be traveled to easily by going in to mage guild {66 mage required} and taking the blue portal upstairs). (members only)
