Start the quest by talking to King Lathas in his castle in east Ardougne on the 1st floor (2nd floor in US English terms). He'll tell you to go to Koftik in west Ardougne.
Go to west Ardougne and talk to Koftik (far to the west). He'll be your guide, enter the cave.
The Underground Pass
You've entered the underground pass, follow the path until you reach a swamp (don't enter). Go around it by climbing the rocks on the north or south path.
Walk a little further and talk to Koftik. He'll show you a book and give you a cloth. Use the cloth on the arrows and repeat the talking and making arrows until you have some fire arrows. Then use the arrows on the fire to complete the fire arrows.
Walk to the north and shoot the guide rope. You'll cross the bridge (the lever can be used to go back). Go to the north and pick up the plank. Go to the south and follow the path, until you reach another obstacle. Use a rope on the rock (above the hole) to swing over the hole.
Continue following the path, climb over the rocks. Talk to Koftik, you'll have to pass the puzzle. You'll have to get to the other side, for every player the path is different (but will stay the same). If you take the wrong path you'll fall down and get hit (15) and you'll have to climb back up. Try until you get to the other side, make sure to write it down.
Pull the lever to get through the gate. Walk a little further until you reach a narrow corridor. Run through the corridor (you'll get hit), to the large room.
Orbs
Pick up the old journal and read it. You'll have to collect 4 orbs. Go to the north and use the plank on flat rocks to cross them. Pick up the orb of light at the end and return to the center room.
Now run past the spiders and ogres in the corridor to the northwest and pick up the second orb of light.
The third orb of light in the west corridor and works the same as the first. Just use the plank on the flat stones and pick up the third orb of light at the end.
For the last orb in the corridor to the southwest you'll have to search the flat rock under the orb of light to get it.
Go back through the spike corridor (run) and use the orbs on the furnace. Go through the corridor and down the well.
Further into the underground pass
Tip: There is some food in the crates, take it if you can.
Go to the west and in the first jail cell, at the south side. Use your spade on the mud.
Cross the ledge at the end of the path.
Now you can either take the bridge or the gate (gate is a bit to the south) (50 thieving), you'll have to go to the east side. When you're there go to the south and go through the pipe.
Move to the west until you see a unicorn. At the unicorn, search the cage to get a railing. Go to the boulder to the south and use the railing on the boulder.
Go down back to the cage and search the smashed cage to get a unicorn horn.
Pass through the tunnel and follow the path. When you reach some paladins, talk to them to get some food. Then kill them all to get their badges.
Go to the west and use your plank on the flat rocks. Continue moving west and search the well. Use the badges and unicorn horn on the well. The door to the west will be unlocked, go through the door.
Iban's Cave
Go to the south (yes all the way) and descend at the cave stairs. Talk to Niloof who will tell you about the Witch and will give you some food. You can also buy some food for 75 coins from Kamen.
Note: You could fail crossing the bridge when you have low agility level and you'll lose a lot of hitpoints.
Now go upstairs again and go to the south and then move north. Until you reach the first bridge, cross that one and then go to the house to the south.
Search the window to find ou the witch is searching her cat. Go to the west and cross the bridge and then follow the path to the west to find the witch's cat.
Go back to the witch's house and use the cat on the door. Then enter the house and search the chest. You'll find a doll of iban, a book and some potions. Read the book.
You'll have to collect some more items from Iban, kill the three demons to the west (and take their amulets). Use ranged or melee. Ranged is easy, because you can use the bridges as safespots.
Once you've kill them all go to the chest north of Doomion and open it, you'll get Iban's shadow. Use iban's shadow on doll of iban.
Go back to the Dwarves and pick up the bucket in the west house. Use the bucket on the barrel in the house to the east.
Go to the tomb to the east (don't search it), use the dwarf brew on the tomb and use your tinderbox on it to get iban's ashes. Use iban's ashes on the doll of iban.
Go to the northeast (don't go up) and kill Kalrag. Once it's dead you'll automatically use the blood on the doll. Return to the Dwarves and talk to Klank, to get Klank's gauntlets.
Note: There are more half-soulless, if you take the bridge from the northwest.
Go upstairs and go to the northwest, search the half-soulless cages. Until you find iban's dove. Use iban's dove on doll of iban.
Dead to Iban
It's finally time to finish this quest!
Note: Make sure you have 2 open inventory spots, before going into the temple.
Go to the center of the maze and kill a disciple of iban. Wear the zamorack robes he dropped and nothing else. Go in the temple and use the doll of iban on the well. Iban will die and you'll be teleported away.
Talk to Koftik, he'll lead you to the start of the underground pass. Go back to east Ardougne and talk to King Lathas to complete the quest.
