After you talked to Denulth you need to go to the Troll Stronghold. You can either take the safe route or the route with the thrower trolls. (Use protect from missile) I suggest taking the safe route.
Safe route:
- When walking to the death plateau their will be a path south (just before a warning sign) take that.
- You will see the house of Tenzing (from Death Plateau quest) go in and exit the house at the back.
- Follow the path to the rocks.
Now climb the rocks (with the climbing boots) and walk to the east. Now you'll see a gate. Try to open it and a big troll named Dad (lvl 101) will challenge you. Killing the troll is easy with prayer but I advise you don't use all prayer because you'll need to kill a stronger troll later on. Dad wil use a big tree trunk as weapon and can push you back quite some distance.
Now go through the next gate and walk further down the path. You will now see a cave entrance. Go in and run past the trolls. Exit the cave and walk further. You will now come into a circular maze. Do not go in the maze but just go around the maze.
Keep following the road to the west until you come into an area which looks like a troll city center. Run north past all the trolls and go into the entrance of the stronghold.
Now make sure you got full health and go to the south where you'll find a door on the west side of the wall. Go in and look for a level 113 General. Kill it with range if you got a low level because there are some good places to hide behind. If you just want to kill it with melee make sure you have enough hitpoints because it can hit really hard on people with low defense (30-35). Also protect from melee is very useful against this troll.
Grab the key that he drops after you defeat him.
Now go back to the door you came from and walk north to the ladder. Go down and walk east to another ladder. Go down that one to and you'll find yourself in a prison room. Go a bit to the south and look for a sleeping troll named twig. Pickpocket him to get a key or just kill him.
Now free the prisoners and go back to Denulth that will reward you.
