If you don't have Glarial's pebble, then you first have to obtain it. Go to the tree gnome village southwest of Ardougne. Go to the dungeon by following the map below.
Go down into the dungeon and go to the east search the crates until you find a key (the crates are a bit lighter). Go to the west and open the door by using the key on the door. Talk to Glorie to get Glarial's pebble.
You'll have to go to Isafdar, the best way is to take the Arandar pass. Go to the northwest of Ardougne just west of the outpost and go down into the Arandar pass. Follow the path down until you're in Isafdar (watch out for the Wolves).
Go to the south into the forest, you'll soon reach a trip wire, step over it. After the trip wire is a log balance, walk over the log balance. Go east and then to the south through the dense forest.
Continue to the west and follow the path. When you reach the leaves, jump over them. Follow the path and just before the bridge go east. Pass over the sticks and search the fire to start the quest.
Now you should go search for the elves. Go past the sticks to the west and follow the path to the south. Before you reach the leaves, go east through the dense forest. Continue east over the trip wire, then go south and talk to Islwyn or wait 5 min until they're there (they switch places every 5 min, but the other place is harder). He'll tell you to talk to Eluned.
Talk to Eluned, she'll tell you to get the old seed from the grave.
Teleport to Ardougne, bank everything except Glaria's Pebble and take food. Go to the northwest, to Glaria's tomb northwest of the Fishing Guild. When you're at the tomb use Glarial's pebble on the tombstone, to enter.
Attack the level 84 Moss Giant, make sure to keep your health high. Once he's dead take the consecration seed. If you don't have Glaria's Amulet then you should also search the chest to the west.
Items required: spade, consecration seed, rope and anti poison
Go back to Eluned in Isafdar and talk to her. She'll bless the seed.
Go to Amera's house to the northwest of Glaria's tomb. Board the log raft, use your rope on the log and then use the rope on the dead tree.
Go to the room to the east and search the crates, until you find a large key. Go to the room to the west and through the large doors. Then use the key on the doors to the north and also on the doors further north. Until you reach a room with the chalice of eternity, plant the seed near the chalice.
Now return to Isafdar and go to Islwyn and talk to him to finish the quest. Quest completed!
As a reward you can choose between a crystal bow and a crystal shield. The crystal bow doesn't require arrows and has a high ranged bonus. The crystal shield is the best ranged shield in the game. Both the shield and the bow have 2500 charges (as the reward for the quest you get them with 500 charges). When the charges reach zero they will turn into a seed and you'll have to recharge them at Islwyn for 900,000 to 180,000 coins (the price decreases every time you recharge them).
