Warning: This guide is only recommended for people that are moderately rich 1-3m and have access to ancient magicks and a prayer lvl of 43+ and a minimum of 70 mage to do ice burst and 60+ range do don’t go to barrows if u can not afford to make your money back
What is the barrows?
The barrows is a sort of cemetery in the south east of RuneScape
(east of Mor'ton.) At the barrows u will find 6 mounds which the 6 legendary barrow brothers lie dead. In each mound u will find a coffin for each barrows brother there undead spirit will pop out to attack u defeat all barrows brothers under each mound and 1 will be left as your tunnel. He will be found under the barrows in the tunnels either as you open the chest or randomly whilst u open doors in the tunnels.
To get to the chest u must find your puzzle door leading to the center of the tunnels where you will find the chest the puzzles are easy once u memorize the answers.
Equipment to bring
Unfortunately the barrows brothers melee defense is very high and melee will take ages to kill them not to forget how much food this will take up, but never fear when mage is here. That's right there magic defense is rubbish u could mage then in full rune and an ancient staff but u won’t need rune full mystic + ancient staff would be fine but u will have to pray and use prayer pots this can be very costly but the profits can be huge!
This is what I my self take to barrows being 87 combat and 82 mage:
(INVENTORY)
Buy the best food you can afford with your money I use sharks bring a melee weapon to use in the tunnels to get your kill count to 14 so that you can get bolt racks and bloods and deaths from almost every trip.
(WHAT TO WEAR)
Of course ahrims would be the best mage bonus therefor more than good enough for barrows but if u cant afford it mystic is perfectly fine.
(WHAT STATS TO RECCOMENDED)
You must have a minimum of 70 mage to make your barrows trips as quick and cheap as possible ice bursting of the melee brothers is great on saving money on prayer pots but isn’t recommended on dharok as he can sneak in 58's at the end and give u a free ticket to lumby. I however use ice blitz then ice burst because ice blitz freezes your opponent for 15 seconds letting u do 4-5 spells not including the ice blitz u used to freeze your opponent if u don’t have the ability to cast ice blitz ice burst would be just fine any lower and it'll waste your runes and time.
Now that you know what to bring let's make the journey to barrows.
Getting to the barrows
Ok to get to barrows you must have completed
Priest in Peril (to get into canafis for a start)
Nature spirit (at least started to enter swamp)
In search of the Myreque (not a must but recommended as it reduces your time to barrows greatly).

Fighting The brothers at the Barrows
Now that you are at the barrows it's time to start killing some barrows brothers but if u have full prayer points I suggest u go to the far south which has....
Who is in each mound?
Karil the Tainted lvl 95, ranger 20 max:
karil magic defense is also weak but not as weak as the melee brothers just pray and ice burst her she will lower your agility but no much.
Ahrim the Blighted lvl 95, mage 20 max
Ahrim uses fire wave and his special effect is to lower your strength when he hits you he also uses other stat lowering spells that hit u even if u pray range him down with what ever prayer u have left.
Dharok the Wretched lvl 115, melee max 58
Dharok is a great melee'r and is experienced in 1 or 2 hitting those who are not careful. I advise you to use prayer and mage him. Keep a close eye on your prayer points though cause if he is on low health he can own anyone easily. Unfortunetly for me dharok was my tunnel at that trip sigh... anyway do not enter your tunnel until you have killed the other 5 barrow brothers.
Guthan the infested lvl 115, melee 25-30 max?
On guthan there is no need to pray but on your d hide or ahrims if u have ice burst or blitz him then run and change to your ahrims or mystic and ice burst him until his freeze almost wears of then run to the opposite end of the coffin so he cant get to you right click on ice burst or blitz and attack guthan he should be frozen again and attack ice burst repeat this process until he is dead. he special effect is to heal him self when causing damage this special also works even if u pray on him for some strange reason so don’t let him attack you or he might heal.
Torag the Corrupted lvl 115, melee 30 max?
torags special effect is to drain your energy by 20% on each damage he causes regularly I think but torags attack is really bad his strength is pretty high and his defense is huge like on guthan freeze and run u could just mage him in your ahrims or hide with out movement because of his low attack depending on your defense level he will not or rarely hit you.
Verac the defiled lvl 115, melee max 30-35?
veracs special effect is quite good as it negates the opponents defense bonus and has the ability to hit as accurate and hard as if his opponent was wearing nothing. and veracs armor set has a good prayer bonus as well as melee. same as torag and guthan freeze and run if u wish to pray then pray but it is not recommended unless you feel u need to.
The Tunnels
now that you have killed 5 brothers the remaining 1 brother is in the underground tunnels in my case dharok the wretched... sigh.
go to your mound who so is you tunnel and enter. you will find you self a room in the tunnels with a ladder you came down in.
equip your melee weapon and get you kill count to 14 to get bloods bolt racks half keys deaths from chest most of the time when you search.
now that you have 14 kill count search for the puzzle door leading to the chest in the middle of the tunnels which has your prize remember if you have killed all 6 barrows brothers before searching the chest you chance of getting a piece of armor or weapon increases but is still rare.
now that you are in open the door in front of you and go open your chest if you have not yet met your 6th brother in the tunnels whilst you were opening doors then he will pop out and attack you make sure you have your prayer on as trying to freeze and attack here will result in a ugly mess for you. be careful that when you open the chest to get your 6th brother out you don’t click twice and search the chest then you'll get runes most likely as you didn’t kill all brothers and you'll be left with the 6th brother attacking you.
now that you have killed all the brothers and have a total kill count of 15 including the 6 brothers search the chest and good luck with what you get if you get a barrows item congratulations your rich if you don’t well better luck next time.
